Stand up for the Champions
May 4th, 2010 by Lukas BWe’re at the business end of the domestic football season, and whilst it’s all over in Scotland, Holland and Belgium, there’s still everything to play for in two of Europe’s biggest leagues. Internazionale are chasing a very realistic treble and with only Roma and Bayern Munich standing in their way, don’t be surprised to see images of a smug Jose Mourinho celebrating like a man possessed (again) all over the back pages during the coming weeks.
Meanwhile in Spain, where Mourinho is nicknamed the ‘Translator’ and definitely not the ‘Special One’, Real Madrid are looking to break the hearts of rivals Barcelona, who if pipped to the title will end the season with nothing to show for all of their glorious attacking football. Read More »
