Wimbledon tennis tournament is under way
Bring out the strawberries and cream, get some cold Pimms and lemonade in your glass and sit yourself down in front of the TV – Wimbledon has just slammed into action.
The tournament started off yesterday with a near shocking defeat of the reigning men’s champion Roger Federer at the hands of Alejandro Falla of Colombia, a player who has never even ranked in the top 50. Will this near miss help Federer shape up and stay on top of his game throughout the rest of the tournament, or it is a sign of not so good things to come?
Beyond the Federer chatter and the hopes of many tennis fans that he will meet Rafael Nadal in the final, there are plenty of other matches to see (and bet on at Titan Bet).
